What an appropriate title for this episode, airing only a week before Christmas. The holiday season can be very stressful for many people.

How many of the following stressors are you (or did you) deal with over the holidays; Family commitments, school obligation, shopping for the perfect gift, spending over budget, arguments, traveling, cooking, animals, etc.

In this episode, I share with you the audio from a recent master class I taught to a group of Mompreneurs. The title is “5 Simple Shifts to Help You Love Your Life”, where I share with you ,what you need to be the winner of your own race.

Your 1st shift is Awareness.

Are you aware of where you are, here in the present, now, aka – reality? Are you aware of who you are being, how you are behaving? Are you aware of the multiple areas in your life that impact the way you life your life?

Before you can begin to make changes, you need to figure out what is working and not working. You need to be aware of all the elements that come into play when designing your life.

Elements such as:

  • Health & Fitness
  • Money & Finance
  • Business & Career
  • Recreation & Play
  • Service & Contribution
  • Personal Development
  • Relationships
  • Environment

2nd shift: “Integrate Integrity”

The degree of which you integrate the standard of high integrity, will determine the quality of your business life as well as you personal life.

How do you want to be remembered? Would you like for those you leave behind to remember you as someone who reminded them of Mother Theresa or Ghandi or someone more like Ebenezer Scrooge (before the spirits made a visit on Christmas Eve)

3rd Shift : Make a Decision

Did you know that most people don’t get what they want because they don’t know what they want? And even those who think they know what they want, never really get what they want.

Things like procrastination and fear keep you from taking a chance on yourself and living a life you deserve. In this episode, you’ll learn what exactly is responsible for you being afraid.

Your Secret Weapon: Responsibility

Do you or someone you know, tend to blame, complain or justify about anything and everything in life? Do you tell a sad story to anyone who will listen? If you do, be careful. Why? Because every time you blame, complain or justify :

  • You give away your personal power
  • You become the victim
  • You become a living, breathing crap magnet.

Your final shift is “M&M” .

This is short for Mastery with a Mentor. A mentor will provide new ideas and accountability to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle. A mentor will keep you accountable and help you master your time and emotions.
